David Blandy is Lighthouse’s Artist-in-Residence for Brighton Science Festival. He will be working on two major projects: Helix, a collaboration with scientist, Adam Rutherford, exploring the history of DNA; and Anjin 1600: Edo Wonderpark, an installation that retells the story of William Adams, the first Englishman to arrive in Japan in 1600, as an epic intergalactic space adventure.
