MIT BrainTrust, a student run service organization endeavoring to promote awareness and understanding of the brain and its disorders, is hosting David M. Bailey. David left his job in the corporate world and began his career as a singer/songwriter/guitarist when he was diagnosed with a glioblastoma multiforme and told he only had a few months to live. He is now a 10 year brain tumor survivor and performs across the country; his songs inspire hope to those both people with brain tumor and without. He has shared his hope and music with thousands of listeners: Ten years, 12 albums, & 41 states later, David and his music are alive and well, challenging all of us to live passionately and to treasure the beauty of each new day.
His story has been featured on CBS News/48 Hours, 60 Minutes, Fox/Health, and NPR;
