Grammy-winner, band leader, and bassist phenom Dave Holland has one of the most celebrated and accomplished legacies in contemporary jazz. He has been a band leader for the better part of two decades taking cues from Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn and Charles Mingus. He commands attention as few bassists ever have. Holland's latest collaboration is a talented sextet of jazz all-stars, featuring saxophonist Antonio Hart, drummer Eric Harland, trumpeter Alex Sipiagin, pianist Mulgrew Miller and trombonist Robin Eubanks. This London native is sure to entertain with his sextet's various styles that on any given evening can range from bebop to free jazz.
