Who’s up for a game of culinary matchmaker?

DUO Restaurant & Lounge located in the Flatiron district at 72 Madison Ave., is launching a dinner program that has the format of speed dating and the feel of a casual, no-strings-attached blind date. By teaming up with Grouper, DUO was able to create an involved three-tier dating experience that will match participants based on their culinary preferences on three mini dates, a separate date for each of the three courses.

The menu will feature options such as a Seasonal Vegetable Tartlet in a Lemon Tarragon Beurre Blanc; Organic Free Range Chicken Breast with Chanterelle Mushrooms, Butternut Squash, Fava Beans, Dried Fruit Chutney and a Thyme Infused Madeira Jus; and Grilled Atlantic Salmon with Seasonal Vegetables, Baby Artichokes, Grapes and Tomato Confit in a Champagne Herb Reduction.

Only 30 participants will be chosen for Dec 14th. If selected, tickets are $85, which covers a three-course menu, including tax and tip. The evening will also feature $10 wine specials.
