Celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with the Dartmouth College Gospel Choir. The 50+member musical group is coming to Washington, D.C. for a public performance at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School on Sunday, January 15th at 7 pm.
The choir has performed at the 2009 Presidential Inauguration festivities, New Orleans' Jazz Fest, and New York City's Lincoln Center. They have also performed around the world, including in Italy, Switzerland, Greece and Turkey.
The Dartmouth College Gospel Choir performs a wide variety of music, ranging from spirituals to the most modern day contemporary hits, including many non-traditional surprises. The choir performs with a 12-piece band.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit both the Gospel Choir and the B-CC High School Theater Lighting campaign.
Tickets available online and at the door on the day of the performance.
The Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School is three blocks east of the Bethesda Metro on the red line.
