Wholphin is a quarterly DVD magazine from San Francisco that takes it name and inspiration from little known fact the Whales and Dolphins sometimes… er… make babies. Each Wholphin issue contains a mixed bag of screen goodies that includes political docos, instructional videos and snippets of foreign sitcoms, made by anyone from obscure Canadian performance artists to famous names like Spike Jonze. Like a Wolphin, it’s all a bit wrong, but kind of cool, and seems to be just the right formula for the modern, attention-deficit viewer.
Brent Hoff, co-founder and curator of Wolphin DVD Magazine will present this screening of a selection from the Wolphin vaults.
