Grab your proton pack, garlic wreath and silver bullets for a nocturnal walk down a winding labyrinth of chills and thrills at Darkness Rising (10 Brooklyn Avenue), Massapequa’s most haunted warehouse with “live” goblins, ghouls and ghosts. On weekends from October 7-8 through Halloween, those who dare cross its ghastly threshold will find over 4,500 square feet of demonic energy and heart pounding scares. Opening weekend is $8 admission; $10 thereafter (payment in cash only). All proceeds to benefit YES Community Counseling Center and the Heather Pendergast Fund.
