CPAWS-NS is delighted to announce the Dare to be Deep event in Halifax, November 9th, starting at 6.30 p.m., ending 9 p.m. The evening is a fun and educational celebration of Canada's first National Marine Conservation Area, which has just been created on the wet west coast of Canada in Gwaii Haanas (Queen Charlotte Islands). The event will include Haida dancers, slide shows and video of land and ocean wilderness in British Columbia, inspiring speakers on marine conservation in the Maritimes, and more. Cash bar for those needing refreshment, and interesting displays for all.
