Danilo Perez, acclaimed by Jazz Times magazine as a world class pianist and skillful composer, is a gifted musician who has earned three Grammy nominations and an international reputation for his revolutionary blend of North American jazz and African-based rhythms of the Caribbean and Central and South America. In addition to leading his own ensembles, Danilo is a member of the Wayne Shorter Quartet and the Roy Haynes Trio, whose self-titled release was named one of the best albums of the year by the Village Voice.
