Dancers will have an opportunity to explore a performance technique, developed by Koosil-ja, called Live Processing. Dancers will see and read, then copy and combine movements, in real time, from a multitude of video sources displayed on monitors placed throughout the space. The goal is to condition the body and mind to be more receptive to images in an environment--the eyes will read, the brain will process and the body will render. The video source becomes a potential for creation of new movement beyond the trained body.
