I have had the pleasure of geting better acquainted with Jackie and Ricardo recently. Not only are they experts at the art of Argentine tango, but an absolute joy to watch dance and share dancing experiences. Barb

Jackie and Ricardo are lifelong tango aficionados. From early memories of seeing their parents host tango dances to the beginning of their own journey in the mastery of this art, they have found in Argentine tango an endless source of inspiration and challenge.

Jackie began her formal dance training in Quito, Ecuador, at Marcelo Ordonez's 'Danza Folklorica." Ricardo had his earliest training in music and dance composition at the 'Instituto de Musica Sacra' in Quito.

They travel regularly to Buenos Aires to receive training in tango instruction under the tutelage of professionals from accredited tango schools.

Jackie and Ricardo believe that social Argentine tango is for everyone. Join us and learn to delight in this richly expressive dance... and learn Argentine tango as it is danced on the dance floors of Buenos Aires.

TAKE ONE, OR BOTH WORKSHOPS

Starting at 7:00 PM SHARP.. Learn the basics to ARGENTINE TANGO. If you're a student with little to no prior experience, this class is exactly what you'll need to get started. Even if you have prior experience, you're sure to learn some pretty amazing technique tips to make your dancing come to life!

At 7:46 PM SHARP.. get ready for a great Advanced Beginner
/Intermediate Workshop that is geared for the dancer who is proficient with the basics, and is able to move along at a faster pace. This class WILL NOT be slowed down for the beginner student(s).
BEGINNER ARGENTINE TANGO WORKSHOP 7:00 PM SHARP
• If you're unsure which workshop to take, I'd recommend starting out here with the Beginner Workshop. If you already have some experience, but need a little refresher this workshop is for you too. If after taking the Beginner Workshop you're still not sure if you should take the Advanced Beginner/Intermediate Workshop, please ask the instructor at the end of the class for their guidance.
• Lots of fun information, just taught at a slower pace. Very few of us are proficient in all the dances. I may be an experienced west coast swing dancer, but have very limited skills in the dance that is being offered. So... flash me a smile when you see me standing next to you in the beginner/advanced beginner workshop.

ADVANCED BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE
ARGENTINE TANGO WORKSHOP 7:46 SHARP
From 7:46 - 8:30 PM SHARP, get ready to challenge your dancing skills with more intricate patterns, taught at a faster pace. Sorry, this class WILL NOT be slowed down for the beginner student.

And then, let's get the party started!

8:30 - 11:00 PM
We'll Crank Up The Heat with Hot, Fun, Upbeat music that has made "DANCEgr The Fun Place To Dance". Enjoy dancing Waltz, Foxtrot, West Coast Swing, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Night Club 2 Step, Hustle, Tango, Country 2 Step, East Coast Swing, Salsa, Samba, Bolero, and more... to the best music in town for ballroom dancing.
And.. along the way get better acquainted during the mixer that's always such a riot!
