Breast cancer survivors from St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital, including a father-daughter pair, will perform the Cha-Cha and celebrate the best of summer song and dance at “Summer in the City,” a performance to support the Helen Sawaya Fund.
The Fund offers programs that lift spirits and promote healing for cancer patients, including music and art therapy, massage, and support groups.
“Summer in the City” is being produced and directed by Melanie Lapatin and Tony Meredith, who are choreographers for the television program “So You Think You Can Dance.”
The program takes place on Saturday, July 10th, 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m., at Dance Times Square, 156 West 44th Street (between 6th and 7th Avenues), Manhattan.
