7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Please join us for a fun evening of music and motivation to protect Tasmania's old growth forests. In Berkeley only, Julia Butterfly Hill will be joining musician/activist Dana Lyons on his tour of the US and Australia in support of Tasmania's temperate rainforests. Australian logging company GUNNS Limited is destroying Tasmania's temperate rainforests at an appalling rate. An area the size 44 football fields of Tasmania's pristine old growth forests is being destroyed EVERY DAY by Gunns clear-cuts and firebombing. Now GUNNS is poised to double its destruction of the forests with the construction of a pulp mill.
