Dallas Derby Devils presents..Cirque de Skate! August 1, 2009

Dallas Derby Devils present Game 5 of the 2009 Season, Saturday, Aug 1st.

Ladies, gentlemen and derby fans of all ages the Dallas Derby Devils proudly present the fifth bout of the 2009 season, a menagerie of wonderment and jaw dropping feats of skill await you on Saturday, August 1st at the NYTEX Sports Centre, as the DDD presents “Cirque de Skate”!

The Suicide Shifters (0 & 3) and the Wrecking Crew (0 & 3) have yet to secure a win this season and both teams have something to prove.

In the center ring we will have the High Seas Hotties (3 & 0) skating against the Death Row Rumblers (2 & 1). The Hotties are looking for a perfect season however, the girls on Death Row are looking to take the wind of the Hotties’ sails.

The competition will take place at NYTEX Sports Centre (8851 Ice House Road, North Richland Hills). Doors open at 7:00pm and the action will start at 7:30pm. Get your tickets to this PG-13 event in advance for only $12 if purchased from a derby girl or $13 on our website. Tickets at the door will be $15. Kids 12 and under are free. Since the regular season bouts are held at NYTEX, these bouts will NOT be BYOB but thanks to sponsor ZuRoma Sicilian Kitchen, enjoy the newest gift to the fans, $1.00 “derby draft” beers, $1.50 select cans and now a mini-bar stocked with favorite mixers all from trackside.

The Devils chose the Dallas Scottish Rite Hospital to receive charity contributions for the July bout. The Scottish Rite Hospital for Children is a world leader in the treatment of pediatric orthopedic conditions.
