DAJ Tokai Chapter Movie Night in April April 29, 2007

DAJ Tokai is hosting another wonderful movie night-
Sunday, April 29 at Striker's, 6:00 p.m. - the film will be "Oil on Ice".

"Oil on Ice" is a moving & visually stunning journey that lets us confront the impacts our oil-drenched societies are having on the peoples and wildlife in the Alaskan wilderness. Against the backdrop of constant political pressure to extract & develop oil there, and the battle between energy conservation & unbridled consumption, the beauty and grandeur of the region and its native people come to life. This filmic journey gives us all a chance to face our continuing dependency on ancient sunlight, and to actively seek viable ways to both break that addiction and save the wilderness."
