Daisy Swan & Associates Hosts a Night of Conversation about Trends and Changes in the Employment Landscape that You Need to be Aware of -- And Ready for...

New Panel Member! We are honored to have Diana Huffaker, Ph.D. on our April 2nd panel!

Join Daisy Swan & Associates, and friends, on Thursday, April 2, 2009, for an informal evening of discussion about what's happening in four areas of commerce that are currently facing change, and will undoubtedly offer growth opportunities in the coming years.

We have gathered accomplished professionals from each of these four areas -- healthcare, marketing, energy and education -- all with a deep knowledge of their respective fields, to address questions about developments and challenges in the marketplace and employment landscape. Daisy Swan will moderate and facilitate the conversation and interaction between panelists and event attendees, to keep the dialogue lively and informative.

April 2nd event attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, offer perspectives and meet other curious individuals of like mind – currently employed, or not. Light refreshments will be available, and as with all of Daisy Swan & Associates’ events, there is a strong potential for meeting highly creative, intelligent people of all ages and LifeStages, through the networking portion of the evening.

Attendees at the April 2nd event will not only gain insight on market and employment trends in these four sectors, but will also learn new strategies for shifting the focus of their conversations, and personal and professional messages, to create a base for a more knowledgeable exchange with potential employers or partners in these areas. The discussion and advice delivered by these experts, and Daisy Swan, will show attendees how to shine in this time of change, and how to navigate these new and possibly unfamiliar waters.

The evening’s panel of experts will include Alan Sterling, an expert and consultant to the healthcare industry, currently consulting for Blue Shield’s Medicare Division; Dianna Sadlouskos, a management consultant with 20 years of experience in higher education and the high-tech industry, who can speak to those who are – or have considered working as – an independent strategy consultant, as well as those interested in exploring higher education career options; and Sasha Strauss, Managing Director at Innovation Protocol and Brand Strategist extraordinaire, who will address how to change personal and professional messaging and branding, a must in order to adapt in this new marketplace. And while Clark Crawford has been called to meet with Venture Capital firms in the Bay Area, we are delighted to report that Diana Huffaker, Ph.D. has joined our panel to talk about new developments in technology and its commercialization. She is currently working on raising funds for her energy venture while teaching at UCLA.
