Explore the USS Kidd DD 661, a Fletcher class destroyer and veteran of WW II, Korea and Vietnam as well as the Cold War. Named for Rear Admiral Isaac Campbell Kidd, Sr. (1884 - 1941) who lost his life on the USS Arizona on Dec. 7, 1941 and was awarded the Medal of Honor. Restored to its WW II configuration, the USS Kidd is both a tribute to the men who served aboard her as well as to Louisiana's Military heritage.
