An opportunity to explore Biscayne National Park on a 3-hour boat trip. Calm days afford a great opportunity to visit the reefs on either by snorkeling or by glass bottom boat. Windier days allow exploration of the Bay via snorkel and mask, or exploration of the park`s islands (usually Boca Chita Key) on foot. Snorkeling is a fairly simple skill, and requires no specialized training, but one should feel comfortable in the water before attempting to snorkel. Trip prices include mask, fins, snorkel, floatation vest and any instruction you require. Water time is 60-75 minutes. As with all concession-operated trips, passenger minimums apply. Gear pickup and sign-in begins one hour prior to departure, and a 15-minute orientation by a park ranger begins 15 minutes prior to departure. Departure time is USUALLY 1:30, but may vary depending on weather...call 305-230-1100 for the latest information.
