Dadpalooza Rocks The Simsbury Farmers Market June 18, 2009

The Simsbury Farmers’ Market, will be hosting its first annual Dadpalooza Festival on Thursday June 18th from 2:00-7:00pm. The Festival includes Beer Tasting compliments of Thomas Hooker Brewing Company located in Bloomfield CT, who grow their hops locally, live music featuring Eh Steve and The Melon Farmers and fun family events all day long!

Throughout the festival, our farmers market vendors will be teaming up to create market specials and to serve up some of Dad’s favorites including: chili, BBQ, dogs, strawberry shortcake, pies by the slice, ice cream and food sampling. Costumed characters Nellie the cow and Willey the Pig will be there to greet everyone and providing photo opportunities. Giggles Party and Play will be hosting the craft booth where kids can make something for Dad and stop by the market information booth for a Dadpalooza sticker! This event is free and open to the public.
