La seduzione dell’altrove is a series of essays and short stories based on Dacia Maraini’s memorable trips to the Middle and Far East, Africa and America. Maraini’s travels take us beyond the first impressions of a tourist and give an original perspective on the countries visited and on her home country, Italy.

Dacia Maraini will present her book in conversation with Margherita Heyer-Caput, Professor of Italian at UC Davis.
