D.L. Hughley at Cobb's Comedy Club November 19, 2010

A true king of comedy, D.L. has earned his reputation. "Weekends at the DL," his late night talk show on Comedy Central, received rave reviews as did his namesake television show “The Hughleys”, which he starred in and produced. D.L. is also well-known as one of the standout comedians on the hit comedy docu-film “The Original Kings of Comedy.” It was this best-selling comedy tour and film that launched D.L., as well as fellow comedians Steve Harvey, Bernie Mac and Cedric the Entertainer, into career overdrive.

Since his run on the tour, D.L. has appeared in numerous films and televisions shows, including the critically acclaimed “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.” In addition, D.L. has headlined several comedy specials including "D.L. Hughley: Going Home," "Shocked and Appalled" and “D.L. Hughley: Unapologetic” on HBO. Comedy Central Records has also released his comedy CD “Notes From the GED Section.” Last year, D.L. also hosted the show “D.L. Hughley Breaks the News” for CNN.
