This Academy Award®–nominated documentary tells the story of a pivotal moment in the Allied struggle against Nazi Germany during World War II—the successful invasion of Normandy by the largest armada in history on June 6, 1944, and the battle that followed. D-Day Remembered is told through the experiences of those who planned, executed, and fought on the French beaches on that fateful day more than 50 years ago. Executive producer Grace Guggenheim introduces the screening.
