Cypress String Quartet continues Salon Series at Montalvo Arts Center January 16, 2011

The annual Salon Series is a unique concert that aims to demystify classical music through conversation as well as performance. In this concert, the Cypress String Quartet will explore impressionist composer Debussy's String Quartet in G, Op. 10 and Jennifer Hidgon's musical response to the Impressionist period with Impressions, which was commissioned by the Cypress as part of its Call & Response series.
