'Cynical Weathers' is the story of a moderate Texas congressman, trying to pass an energy bill. He grapples with his liberal wife, a scientist studying global warming and his Evangelical Christian chief of staff as a hurricane gathers force off the Gulf Coast threatening his estate and the surrounding terrain.
