Background:
Venture Center has started a series of talks on Water, one of the projects under Venture Center's flagship program Lab2Market (http://venturecenter.co.in/lab2mkt.php). The first talk on this series was held on Nov 13, 2010 - Water - Opportunities for Impact; slides from this presentation are available at http://venturecenter.co.in/research.php. The first talk was a high-level overview of the water markets and investment opportunities in the sector.

This second talk on Jan 15, 2011 draws upon our research to identify market opportunities in the water sector in India. This talk will summarize over 50 technologies currently available and/or being developed by VC-funded startups as well as large companies in the global water sector. We will also share details on various water-related resources that we've collected at the Venture Center library.
