Johnny Walker, formerly of the Soledad Brothers and Henry & June, debuts his latest project in Detroit on Friday. The Cut in the Hill Gang is little more rock and a little less blues, but definite strains of the Soledads' last studio album, "The Hardest Walk" can be heard in the new lineup. The group arrives from Covington, KY with their first 45 in tow from the Little Room Record Company, a cooperative record label effort from the White Stripes' online fan message board.
