Bizet's 'Carmen,' an intense tale of love, lust, betrayal, and murder, is condensed to one act, six singers, and a chamber ensemble. Bizet's captivating music tells the original story of the gypsy Carmen, the imprisoned Don Jose, and a tragic bullfight. This is a fully staged production with the Curtis Chamber Orchestra and sung in French.
