Currents: Evan Penny August 3, 2007

This exhibit features the works of Toronto sculptor Evan Penny. He creates hyper realistic figural sculptures of unnatural proportions. Enlarged, stretched, and skewed, his manipulated portraits inhabit the fluid dimensions of the virtual world. Penny's highly illusionist works appear to result from 3-D body scanning and digital distortion of real subjects.
