Downtown Newark has seen several periods of growth since its founding in 1666. Trace three centuries of the city's history, from colonial to modern day, in the architecture along Washington and Military Parks.

Tours meet in the lobby of the New Jersey Historical Society. No reservations are required. Tours will run rain or shine. Tours are free but donations are accepted.
