Come to the National Maritime Museum for a fascinating day of workshops, performances and demonstrations exploring the people's history of Greenwich, past and present. Join the fun in the ‘mini Olympics’ for under 6s organised by Greenwich dads. Bring your family papers, trace maritime ancestors, add to the giant timeline and tell us about your memories of this key Olympic borough. Meet the ‘Royal Parks’ and the ‘Friends of Greenwich Park’ to learn more about the intriguing history of this beautiful Royal Park.
Starting at the National Maritime Museum and finishing at the Old Royal Naval College, meet Joe Brown, the Greenwich Pensioner who fought at the Battle of Trafalgar and enjoy family workshops in the magnificent Painted Hall.
