Anderson, IN. - The Cultural Festival will kick off on Saturday, August 23, 11am at the Downtown Anderson Town Center (12th and Meridian Streets) with Mayor Ockomon, special guests dressed in authentic clothing and entertainment.
The Cultural Festival will feature a variety of entertainment, foods, vendors and activities!!!
Entertainment will feature: The Forlorico Dancers, DJ’s from Ghana & Singapore , The Mariachi Band, and the Anderson Steppers among others…
Activities will include: “Anderson Idol” talent show; Kiddie Olympics and children’s arts and crafts table featuring Origami and Sumi painting.
Ethnic foods, arts crafts and market place vendors will fill the day!!!
Goodie bags for the first 100 children at the AIMS booth.
Event closes at 7pm.
