RatioNation brings one of the most important bands in Latin America and Spanish Culture to the Green Dolphin Street on Thursday, April 16 for an inspiring evening of enchantment. Puerto Rico’s Cultura Profetica achieves an excellent and very sticky musical fusion, with rhythms of traditional roots reggae, a mixture of infectious harmonies which include: salsa, jazz, electronica, trip hop, ska, Afro-Caribbean beats, Latin rock, and bossa nova.
Led by four talented young Puerto Ricans, The Island of Enchantment’s very own Cultura Profética was formed in 1996 by the need to express musically. The band is composed of more than 11 musicians which include: Willy Rodríguez - bass, vocals, Boris Bilbraut - drums, vocals, Omar Silva - guitar, bass, Juanqui Sulsona - piano, keyboards, Eliut González – guitar, Daniel Ramírez - organ, keyboards, Beto Torrens, Ilang Gutiérrez – vocals, Kianí Medina- vocals, Arturo Vergés – trombone, Eduardo Cosme – trumpet, Milton Barreto – saxophone. Cultura Profetica crosses the borders of more than 15 countries and achieves a very peculiar sound that has been admired by many artists, musicians, engineers and the largest exponents in the international reggae scene today.
