Formed in January of 2005, when 3 former classmates, Dane Drewis (lead guitar/vocals), Mike Camilleri (percussion/rhythm guitar/vocals) and Tim Diedesch (bass), who had played music together while attending Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo, moved north to the outlying suburbs of Sacramento. The three soon met up with Mike Marsh, a skilled drummer from Louisiana, who was fresh out of the Army and a veteran to the music scene. Their combined penchant for melodic expression blossomed into a refreshing sound, founded upon crisp vocal harmonies, precise guitar work and a solid rhythm section. Today Cuesta Drive continues to wow audiences by fusing blues, funk, reggae and Latin rock, creating an original, yet seemingly familiar, style of rock and roll unmatched by today's artists.
