CUBA - Photography Exhibition by Jelena Stojkovic March 31, 2007

This collection is a series of photographs taken around the streets of Havana. Join Jelena on her journey as she explores the elegance of the aging city and its residents. In these images she observes the people in their environment, unrehearsed, and without their knowledge, as they go about their daily lives. Capturing them for a brief moment in time, Jelena wonders what lies behind their expressions, their dreams and their hopes, while conveying the warmth of both young and old.

Jelena Stojkovic is Toronto based emerging photographer whose work focuses on exploration of city¹s mysteries and its people. She is Ontario College of Art and Design graduate entering the art community.

Opening reception Sat Mar 31st, at 7pm. Exhibition runs until Apr 29th.
