CTI Presents Cantor Ramón Tasat in Concert June 26, 2011

Internationally-renowned Ramón Tasat, who has sung throughout this county, in European capitals and at important music festivals throughout the world, stars in If I Forget You, O Yerushalayim - The Fall and Rise of Jerusalem on Sunday, June 26 at 5 pm at Congregation Tifereth Israel (CTI) in Glen Cove. Cantor Tasat leads a musical tour of historical Jerusalem in a concert that features the Kolot HaLev (Voices of the Heart) Choir, the pianist and cantor, Natasha J. Hirschhorn, and CTI’s own Cantor Gustavo Gitlin. The event is a fundraiser to benefit CTI’s Hebrew School and is the highlight of Cantor Tasat’s June 24-26 scholar-in-residence program at CTI.
