CRY Detroit Annual Child Rights Walk 2010 August 22, 2010

Have you ever wondered what is feels to be denied your basic rights? Millions of children in India and around the world live a life deprived of their essential human rights - to food, water, shelter, health care, education and equal opportunity. It is a fact and not an exaggeration that 10,000 children die every single day in India. Come, be part of this unique opportunity to create a lasting change in the lives of these children, living thousands of miles away from you. Walk for a cause with a pledge to make a difference.

This year's Child Rights walk at Detroit will be held at the Stony Creek Metro Park ( Southdale Picnic Area (next to Eastwood Beach) )on 22th August. The event includes
-- a competitive 5k run starting at 9:00 AM.
-- a non-competitive walk if you are with family and kids.
-- Exciting raffles and fun activities for kids.
-- Free T-Shirts, variety of snacks and refreshing drinks will be available for event participants!
