Wish I'd seen the above review before we went to Larson's 2009-2010 NYE party at the Ritz!
It was also a HORRIBLE EVENT!
The party planner Kevin Larson did a terrible job! We paid almost $400 for VIP tix where they promised "no line" open bars but we waited 40 minutes each time we wanted a drink. It was like being at Disney World on its busiest day. Plus there was waiting 20 mintutes to check your coat. We didn't even get to eat anything.
And the music was TERRIBLE!
Skip any Kevin Larson event!
Even the staff at the Ritz said that Larson lied about what had been promised and that they would never work with him again. They are doing their own NYE party next year.

I attended this event for the first time last night, and let me just say, as a complete understatement, that I would NEVER do it again. Kevin Larson threw the most ubelievably lame New Years Eve party imaginable. My fiance and I were embarrased to have talked our friends into going. and wasting thier money. The entire experience was aweful, from the freezing dining room (60 degrees!) where we got so cold at dinner that we had to actually skip dessert, to the pretentious food and inexperienced wait staff, to the horrible organization of the event itself, to the god-aweful music where we preferred to listen to our ipod stereo rather than suffer that horrible, dated, top-40 radio style crap that one could possibly endure. Further more, most of the ammenities and party events were non-existent! There were no fire dancers or mermaids, the so-called pool party was nothing more than a lacking dj sitting in a dark wet room with zero atmosphere. There were no 'theme-rooms' that I could see, and believe me we tried. The party was aweful, aweful aweful and completely falsly advertised. I advise anyone to think twice before attending any of Kevin Larson's events in the future and, please dont waste money on this one
