The Crowthorne Flower Festival, proven to be an extremely popular community event in the Carnival calendar is to return to St John’s church in the village of Crowthorne on 10th to 12th July 2010.
Over 30 local organisations, schools, clubs and churches will be taking part making this a true community event. Visitors will be delighted by the numerous spectacular floral displays all of which will be created in the carnival theme of “Rhythm of Life”.
This year the Flower Festival’s adopted charity is Help for Heroes who support members of the armed forces who have been wounded in the service of their country. The last Flower Festival, in 2008, raised over £3,000 for Daisy’s Dream charity, and organisers of this year’s festival are hoping to raise a similar sum of money.
