Formed in Melbourne, Australia back in 1985, Crowded House features New Zealand singer/songwriter Neil Finn, formerly of Split Enz. An institution in their homeland, the band earned two US Top 10 hits with 'Don't Dream it's Over' and 'Something So Strong.' Crowded House would record four albums before disbanding in 1996. The tour comes in support of the reunited band's forthcoming album 'Time on Earth,' The group debuts its new lineup, with new drummer Matt Sherrod, replacing the late Paul Hester. Much of Pete Yorn's appeal is his down-to-earth vibe: He's cool enough for the indie crowd, tuneful enough for more mature listeners and he rocks enough to keep things interesting. His lyrics are clever but not cute and his voice conveys an earnest quality that never sounds forced or canned. 16 Frames are a Los Angeles quartet featuring Steve Sulikowski, Josh Dunahoo, Steve McMorran and Daniel James.
