CROSWELL FAMILY FUNFEST
Presented by the Croswell Commercial Club
Saturday, June 25 (Noon – 5 p.m.)
Cost for Wristbands: $3/person (4 and older) or $10/family

Location: Riverbend Park “Home of the Famous Swinging Bridge”

Croswell Pizza Cook – Off (Friday June 24 from 5 – 7 p.m.)
Croswell Wesleyan Church; Cost is $6, and $4; All you can eat pepperoni pizza; Vote for Croswell’s best pizza. Pizza provided by Corner Market, J & D Market, Duffy’s Derby Riverside Family Dining,

8 a.m. – Noon: “FREE” “Curb Shopping for Treasures” Croswell residents will put out items they no longer use or need, between the sidewalk and curb, for individuals who could use these items. All items placed in this designated area are “free” to be picked up.

First 100 participants will get a FREE Hotdog and Water

Three on Three Basketball Tournament For information on how to register call Deann at 679 – 4100. Cost is $60/team. Cost includes a t-shirt. (Divisions are third – fourth. fifth and sixth, seventh and eighth, and high school)

Noon – 5 p.m. Horse Drawn Trolley Rides; The People Mover; Pirates of the Black River (Photo Gallery); Front End Loader Displayed; Dump Truck and Grader Displayed; Wii Just Dance Game; Dunk Tank; Petting Zoo; Duck Toss Game; Fishing for Treasures; Popcorn; Cotton Candy; Helium Balloons; Free Water; “Minute It, To Win It” Games; Balloon/Dart Throw; Arts and Craft Activity (all Ages); Black River “Potato 500” Race; Building a Cardboard Boat; The Fish Pond; Bouncy Ball Making Activity

Noon to 2 p.m. Face Painting

Noon to 3 p.m. Arts and Crafts (ages 3 – 12; Safetyville Program (Ages 3 – 6) This hands on program teaches young children valuable safety information in regards to road safety and dealing with strangers (Stranger/Dangers); Photo Contest: Photos of Croswell Riverbend Park or the Swinging Bridge. Two age division: (ages 6 – 12), and (13 and older including adults): Judging will be done by the people attending the festival. Rules for the competition: black/white or colored photos, maximum size of photo 8x10 inches, attach photo to card stock, one entry per person, place name, age, phone, and address on back of card stock. Bring photos to Ben Franklin by Wednesday, June 23, 2011 or to the park on June 25 by 11 a.m. Participants must report to the photo tent to verify their entry.. Prizes for first and second places;

Croswell Swinging Bridge Drawing Contest for Kids: Three age divisions: (ages 3 – 5), (ages 6 – 8), (ages 9 -12) Kids will enter drawings of Croswell’s Famous Swinging Bridge. Judging will be done by festival attendees. Rules for the competition: One entry per child on an 8 ½ by 11 inch size paper. Artist may use pencil, crayon, markers or poster paints. Please include name, age, phone and address on back of drawing. Artwork can be mounted on poster board or card stock if you wish. Bring photos to Ben Franklin by Wednesday, June 23, 2011 or to the park on June 25 by 11 a.m. Participants must report to the photo tent to verify their entry.. Prizes for first and second places;

12:30 p.m. Dive Team Information/Demonstration

1 – 4 p.m. Pony Rides; Storytime/Crafts (ages 3-9); Mini Train Rides; Bubbles and More Bubbles; S’mores; Special Guest: Click-It the Cricket; Felix T Clown; Nutrition: Fast Food: Woodworking Project

1 – 2 p.m. Sherriff’s Canine Unit Demonstration, demonstration at 1 and 2 p.m.

1:30 p.m. Magic Show by Josh Sawdon

2 – 5 p.m. Children Games

2 p.m. Cool T-Shirt Contest

3 p.m. Cool T-shirt Contest ; Ronald McDonald Meet/Greet/Magic Show

4 p.m. Baby Contest (ages2-3) Prince and Princess will be crowned. .

4:30 p.m. Unity Leo’s Band to perform

4:30 – 6:30 p.m. Pasta Dinner (ALL YOU CAN EAT) (With wristband $2.00 per person or $6 per family and without wristband $5.00 per person or $15 per family)
PRIZES: BICYCLE, BASKETBALL, FOOTBALL, SOCCER BALL, AIRPLANE RIDE, FISHING POLE, PICNIC TABLE, ROLLING COOLER, FOLDING BAG CHAIR, GIRL’S GIFT AND A CARDBOARD BOAT
