Cristela Alonzo is a stand-up comedian/actress originally from San Juan, TX. She met comedian Carlos Mencia while in Dallas and accepted his offer to open for him at the Addison IMPROV. Since then, Cristela traveled as his opening act, became a writer on his Comedy Central show, “Mind of Mencia,” and was featured on his nationwide “Punisher Tour”. She has been a featured comedian on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” and Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham.”
