Creative Innovation - on your door step! May 19, 2009

Screen Yorkshire has joined forces with AIDC to stage an event that introduces RFID, 2D Codes, Smart Cards and Biometric identification technologies to creative regional companies. The event is designed to introduce the technologies and applications of AIDC in order to promote innovative thinking around their exploitation into new markets.

Ideas facilitation company Focus Innovation will be on hand on the day to help develop innovative approaches to the uses of AIDC technologies through presenting case studies of how digital products and services have been created or redeveloped for new markets. Focus Innovation will also give a briefing on the funding available to create truly innovative products or services - group sessions will then begin scenario based idea generation for the use of AIDC products in new markets.

The Elsie Whiteley Innovation Centre has fantastic facilities including a showroom that demonstrates each of the technologies with a hands-on approach in a real setting, spreading across two floors. This is a great opportunity to not only familiarise yourself with these technologies, but to also have the opportunity to innovate with them through the sessions provided by Focus Innovation.
