San Jose Rep's Creative Dramatics Summer Workshops are an interactive theatrical journey where participants will imagine, create, and perform their very own characters, scenes, and stories while developing their improvisational acting skills. In this process-oriented workshop, participants will work together to write and perform an original play or improvisational showcase to present to families and friends!
Led by San Jose Repertory Theatre professionals, participants will develop their improvisational acting and play building skills. The first week will focus on character creation, communication, scene building, storytelling, and the collaborative nature of the improvisational process. During week two, participants will exercise those skills while developing a short play or improv showcase!
