Creating Leaf Art March 24, 2011

Release your inner Picasso and create unique art using materials from your own backyard using leaves, seed pods, flowers and other natural materials. The class will be taught by artist Owen Mortensen who was named one of American Style magazine's "Ten Emerging Artists" (June 2007). His award winning pieces have been featured on the television program "Extreme Makeover, Home Edition" in his hometown of Logan, Utah.
The class will include materials used in the process of creating leaf art and participants will have the opportunity to make their own piece of art to take home.

Class Date: Thurs., March 24 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Cost (includes materials): $40 for Arboretum members and $60 for non-members.
