What is the connection between local organic food, solving food insecurity in Africa and saving our environment?
Holistic Management International, the Albuquerque-based non-profit that works internationally with stewards of large landscapes to restore their lands to health and profitability, is offering two introductory courses from February 15 to 19 in Albuquerque for landowners and environmentalists about steps they might take towards realizing a sustainable future.
· Thursday-Saturday, February 15-17: Introduction to Holistic Management®.
· Saturday-Monday, February 17-19: Creating Healthy Profits: Holistic Financial Planning
Both courses teach Holistic Management’s® practical techniques that enable people to work more effectively with Nature; make decisions that will help heal our planet; and deal with such issues as desertification, drought, sustainable food systems and global warming.
The courses will be offered at the Rio Grande Best Western Inn, 1015 Rio Grande Boulevard, NW. The fee is $450 for an individual course and $810 for the package.
