Creating business-changing solutions with SharePoint 2010 June 22, 2010

No server software has grown faster or made more of an impact on the greater business community than Microsoft SharePoint. This story continues with the most recent release named SharePoint Server 2010. In this presentation we will review the feature improvements of SharePoint and show how this most recent release will continue the trend of empowering business users to create real solutions to real business challenges.

Jeff DeVerter has been working with SharePoint since 2003 which is early in the "v2" product line. He has been involved in the following disciplines within SharePoint:

* SharePoint Security Planning and Implementation

* SharePoint Training

Before joining Rackspace, Jeff worked with Fortune 100 Financial Services companies including World Savings (Golden West Financial) and USAA (United Services Automobile Association) where he worked as an Enterprise Architect over Collaboration and Enterprise Search. Jeff coordinated and managed the deployment of MOSS 2007 to 25,000 employees at USAA.

Jeff DeVerter was hired by Rackspace to build their SharePoint hosting product which centers on world-class SharePoint system administration. Jeff leads the SharePoint support team and is the Chief Architect for SharePoint at Rackspace.
