Create Your Own Comic Kicks Party! April 27, 2013

The Toonseum is teaming up with the Pittsburgh Meetup Group Creative Crafters to bring you a hands-on comic decoupage workshop. In this workshop you will learn to make over your favorite pair of pumps, flats, sneakers into a brand new comic creation.

We will supply the materials all you have to do is bring in a pair of shoes you would like to re-design as a comical masterpiece!

Decoupage is the art of decorating an object by using special papers, in this case comic books. In this workshop you will learn traditional decoupage technique while using comics as a unique decoupage material.

If you have experience with this craft and you would like to bring in additional small items and materials to decoupage during the given time you are more than welcome.

The crafting session goes from 5pm-8pm. This event is BYOB.
