Bring The Kids To New Orland Park Meijer For Delicious S’mores On A Stick

The summer is soon coming to an end, and what better way to spend time with your kids before they head off to school than by participating in Meijer’s Edible Craft Station. Escape the summer heat and stop by the newest Meijer location in Orland Park at 15701 71st Court (corner of Harlem and 157th Avenue), on Saturday, August 14, 2010, from noon to 2 p.m., and join in on all the fun as Meijer presents yummy s’mores on a stick.

Kids can experience a final taste of summer creating s’mores on a stick, made from Meijer’s large marshmallows and other delicious grocery items. Bring the whole family to this FREE event and celebrate the store’s Back To School Corporate event, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., as Meijer offers giveaways, healthy food ideas and samples as well as sweepstakes to win a college scholarship or a shopping spree at Meijer. WILV-FM will also be visiting the Orland Park store, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., as they bring their live radio broadcast to all the festivities.
