According to legend, early European immigrants thought the cranberry's delicate pink blossoms looked like the heads of cranes, so they called the fruits "crane berries." Over time, they became known as "cranberries." During Cranberry Blossom Tour Day, visitors can enjoy marsh tours, then make their way to the Center to tour the exhibit hall, sample cranberry wines, gourmet cranberry food products and cranberry bakery items from the Taste-Test Kitchen.
