A massive night as The Craig Charles Funk & Soul Club comes to Leeds featuring the internationally-acclaimed titans of funk The James Taylor Quartet and the mighty Haggis Horns live. Plus BBC R6 DJ and actor Craig Charles and Paul Dunphy manning the decks 'till 3am with the planet's funkiest tunes.
The James Taylor Quartet (aka JTQ) are one of the world's most-loved funk bands whose sizzling blend of stewed up, Hammond organ-grinding 60s boogaloo beats, acid jazz and soulful funked up grooves have made them one of biggest live bands out there. Special guests tonight are Leeds' very own 8-piece The Haggis Horns, who combine heavy breakbeat funk, hip-hop, soul and afrobeat with jazz to stunning effect.
